We are ready to celebrate Chinese New Year with this beautiful artwork created by our new visual merchandiser Tintin. Ginger "fashion and home-wares" will have sales promotions at Emporium and Paragon starting from January 15 to celebrate the New Year. So to all our Chinese customers and the rest of you - GONG HEY FAT CHOI!

I like to share with you some photos of the colorful buildings from Barstreet in Singapore, that I took on my last trip there, some months back. Besides from these beautiful buildings Barstreet also have some great places for eating and drinking - a cool place to visit!

My great old friend from Malaysia, Saiful, is currently visiting us here in Chiangmai. Besides from being an excellent architect he is also a great chef. This morning he took some time of to cook a Malaysian breakfast, Nasi Lamak, together with our Thai chef Nid. The breakfast is made up of: coconut boiled rice, marinated fried chicken (Saiful's family recipe), home-made pickles, samba dip and fried egg. Who wants to eat baked beans and host when you can have this from breakfast???
