My great old friend from Malaysia, Saiful, is currently visiting us here in Chiangmai. Besides from being an excellent architect he is also a great chef. This morning he took some time of to cook a Malaysian breakfast, Nasi Lamak, together with our Thai chef Nid. The breakfast is made up of: coconut boiled rice, marinated fried chicken (Saiful's family recipe), home-made pickles, samba dip and fried egg. Who wants to eat baked beans and host when you can have this from breakfast???
